At the end of June, the Jiayi Fangyuan 2026 Summer Internship Program concluded. Over six weeks, four students worked in frontend development, product design and project assistance, following real projects through part of their lifecycle.
Not a tour, but real participation
We treated interns as team members: daily stand-ups, concrete tasks, code or design submissions, and reviews. It was not easy, but only by entering the delivery process can you understand how many trade-offs a requirement goes through from idea to launch.
- The frontend intern independently built and tested an internal tool page;
- The design intern contributed to the information architecture of a customer portal;
- The project assistant organized meeting notes and risk lists for three projects.
What we learned
Mentoring interns is a chance to examine ourselves: are the processes clear enough, are the documents truly readable, and are review comments specific and actionable? Many habits we take for granted are not obvious to someone encountering them for the first time.
Good collaboration is not about making newcomers adapt to chaos. It is about making the process survive a newcomer's inspection.
After the program
Thank you to all four students for their contribution. We will continue to open internship and campus recruitment positions in the second half of the year, with information published on our website and recruitment platforms. If you are interested in solving real business problems with technology, stay tuned.
